先日セブンスピリットでは『歯』に関しての特別授業がおこなわれました。

セブの医科大学の客員講師に就任された、株式会社メディデントの富田 大介さんと

医療法人社団N.Y MEDiCALの長濱 裕介 さんが、セブンスピリットにお越しくださり

子どもたちに歯ブラシと歯磨き粉のプレゼントを

また、舌のトレーニング方法を教えてくださりました(MFTと言うそうです)💡

保険治療によって、基本的には誰もが歯の治療をすることができる日本では

あまり歯の大切さを実感する機会はないかもしれませんが

フィリピンをはじめとする途上国では、なかなか簡単には治療が受けられない場合もあります。

身体全体の健康に関わる大事な部分である歯を

子ども達が今までよりもっと大事にするきっかけとしてくれたら。。と思います✨

 

さて、今日はスタッフの想いを振り返るシリーズ第2弾！

いつも子ども達と全力でふざける優しい学生スタッフ、Judeのメッセージです。

 

 

📌学生スタッフジュードからのメッセージ

 

Hello! My name is judo and I work in seven spirit. My main task is to handle an alto recorder class. My other task is to wash dishes, clean the studio, guard the studio, become tourist guide for Japanese, become translator, become referee every time kids fight, become clown, become monster etcetera and etcetera lolXD.

こんにちは！私はセブンスピリットで働いているジュードです。

主にアルトリコーダークラスを受け持っています。

他には、皿洗い、スタジオの掃除、防犯、日本人のツアーガイド、通訳、子ども達が喧嘩したときの仲裁役

脅かすためにピエロになったりモンスターになったり…などなど！笑

 

 

So I have been working in seven spirit for more than 3 years, 3 weeks and 3 days. Working in seven spirit was very life changing and I think it is because of children. Seven spirit children are naughty, happy, naughty, very interested to learn music, naughty, very friendly, naughty, loves chocolate, naughty, eats a lot, naughty, have full energy, naughty, funny, naughty, very inspiring and naughty, naughty, naughty. Most of the time they cause Filipino staffs headache, sometimes they make me angry, sad but we still love them.

セブンスピリットで働いて3年と3ヶ月と3日たちます。

働いて人生が変わりましたが、それは子どものおかげだと思っています。

子ども達はやんちゃで、楽しくて、やんちゃで、音楽を熱心に学んで、

やんちゃで、よく食べて、やんちゃで、エネルギー溢れていて、

やんちゃで、面白くて、やんちゃで、勇気付けてくれて、やんちゃで、やんちゃです。

そのせいでスタッフは頭を抱え、時々怒り、泣いたりもしますが、それでも私たちは彼らが大好きです。

 

 

My favorite time in seven spirit is summer time. I really enjoy teaching alto recorders to new kids because they are less distracted (with their class in school) every summer. In summertime I also have many time to play with kids and to cuddle with older kids and chat about serious and nonsense stuffs. I also enjoy kids getting excited about pool party and I also love the time when we talk about all the pool parties seven spirit had. Although summertime is the most tiring time for staffs in seven spirit, I really love it because I can connect to kids more than the usual and it also makes me feel young.

セブンスピリットで一番好きな時間は夏です。

毎年の夏、新しくクラスに入ったお利口さんな子ども達にアルトリコーダーを楽しく教えています。

子どもたちと遊んだり、年長の子を可愛がったり、たわいもない事を話したりもします。

また、夏に開かられるプールパーティーについて夢中になって話をするのも大好きです。

夏はスタッフにとって最も疲れる時期ですが、子どもたちといつもより交流できて、

気持ちを若返らせてくれるのでお気に入りです。
I stayed in seven spirit because of the kids. That no matter how much they add stress to my very difficult university life, they, at the same time, relieve my stress. Seven spirit kids makes me feel appreciated and important. I found a larger family in seven spirit that’s why I never left.

私がセブンスピリットにとどまるのは子ども達がいるからです。

私の大学生活に彼らはどれだけ支障をきたしたことか。

しかし同時に、ストレスを和らげてもくれます。私は子ども達を大切に思い、常に感謝しています。

ここに大家族を見つけたのです。だから離れられないのです。

 

 

Working for kids have taught me so many life lessons. I have learned the value about listening to kids’ opinions. I have also learned that kids have their point too, that no matter how right I think I am there should always be a time that I should listen to their views. After having so many fights with kids I have learned to see an event in the eyes of a kid wherein I pretend that my opinion as a teacher and as an adult is wrong and that the child’s opinion is correct. Doing this made me realize that maybe there is no absolute truth. That people are not either right or wrong but are right and wrong at the same time.

子ども達のために働くことはとてもいい人生経験になります。

私は子ども達の意見を聞くことの大切さを知りました。

どんなに自分が正しいと思っていても、子ども達には子ども達なりの考えがあるのです。

たくさん言い合いしたあと、先生として、大人としての私の意見が間違えていることに気づくときもあります。

子ども達の意見が合っていた時、子どもの目に映るものを見てあげることの大切さを学びました。

また、絶対的な正解は存在しないことにも気づかされました。人は正しさも間違いも併せ持つのだと。

 

 

I used to wonder why seven spirit is teaching music rather than other more necessary crafts. Now I’ve figured it out, that maybe the point is more than just educating, that maybe the point was simply just to inspire. In seven spirit I have witnessed how simple things can inspire kids. I really believe that the best way to change the world is to inspire kids, because if kids are inspired to reach their dreams they will be able to unleash their full potentials, they will be able to try their very best because they are living for their dreams. So I really am hoping that we, NGO’s, can continue what we do because until we inspire the whole youth to do well through their dreams, the world will remain the same. If all the youth is inspired, imagine the civilization they inspired after them, it would might as well be perfect.

私は、なぜセブンスピリットは他の重要な教科じゃなく音楽を教えているのか疑問に思っていました。

しかし今はなぜかわかります。それは、教育だけでなく、感動を与えているか、です。

私は、世界を変える一番の鍵は子どもの感動だと思っています。

感動は子どものまだみぬポテンシャルを引き出し、夢を持つ子どもはベストを尽くそうと努力します。

この世が続く限り、子ども達の夢を全て叶えるまで、私たちは応援したいと思っています。

もし子ども達全員の夢が叶った時の社会を想像してみてください。

きっと素晴らしい世界になると思いませんか？
